My home was built by Zac Murtha Homes in 2007. I thought the building process went great - I couldn't have picked a better builder. Zac and his team really care about the product that they're building, and they take the time to assist with selections to ensure your making the right decisions and not going over budget. We chose Zac Murtha to build our house over several other builders, we felt as though he was a very honest Christian person. Zac Murtha Homes has fabulous attention to detail, great team work, and my questions and phone calls were always answered immediately. My hat goes off to all the guys who made our building process a lot less stressful.

My husband and I have been married 42 years. We have lived in 24 different houses, five of which we built. Our previous building experiences ranged from fair to good, but building with Zac and his team was GREAT! We knew we had chosen the right builder for us from the very first meeting with Zac. In this meeting we discovered that Zac was a Christian as well as his team. That doesn't mean that everything was perfect but when we ran into a problem, they were always willing to discuss the problem and we would mutually come to a conclusion. One tip: Since I recently retired I was able to check on the progress of the house daily.Don't do it!! It will make you crazy as well and everyone else. Just check on the progress of the house once a week.

We have now been in our home for 4 months. We were so pleased with Zac Murtha Homes that our daughter is getting ready to move into her new home that Zac built. She is just around the corner. So you know I was happy with my home if I was willing to help with the construction of my daughter's home at the same time. I even recommended him to our Pastor. His family just moved into their new home as well.

Susie and I want to thank you for building our dream home.  We were not concerned in selecting you as our builder before we even met because you had already built homes for two of our friends.  They highly recommended you plus we could see the quality and care in their homes.  Also, our sales rep for BLE properties advised us they had never had a single complaint with the over 100 homes you built here.  Brian, our project manager was excellent to work with and always addressed any concerns and stayed on top of every need.  He's become a friend after the job.  All the subs you used were great.  The quality of work they provided could not have been better and detail work surpassed our expectations.  Again, thank you, Zac, for the personal care and confidence you and Brian provided us.  We are really happy with our new home and receive many compliments.

 

We discovered Zac through our old next door neighbor who was in the progress of building a new home with Zac.  Our neighbor explained how Zac's fees worked, but more importantly provided an excellent character reference for Zac.  When I contacted Zac, he recommended a number of architects we could go to.  However, he recommended one over the others because, in Zac's opinion, he may not be a full fledged total university train architect but he is very good at designing a home which flows and makes a lot of practical sense.  We visited the other people Zac recommended but in the end selected the architect  Zac's recommended.  We are very pleased with his home  design.  We also let Zac know we intended to put a pool in.  Again, Zac recommended a pool designer and builder.  In our discussions with the pool person he gave an excellent recommendation for Zac both in his quality of building and his impeccable honesty.  The pool guy explained to us an example of Zac's honesty and reliability which totally impressed us. We also like the fact that Zac will allow you to do some of the work on your house and select subcontractors whom you prefer. The quality of the construction and sub-contractors Zac uses are excellent.

 

Zac continually looks for better sub-contractors and wholesalers who will sell the same materials and appliances at a less expensive cost. The best recommendation I can give anyone is, yes we will use Zac Murtha Homes to build another house for us if  the need arises.
